(C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash on 64-bit) I rebooted and then Flash Player worked in Firefox Qantum.I managed to make the "time bomb defuser" work, as indicated here: Disable EOL uninstall warnings:Īdd "EOLUninstallDisable=1" to mmc.cfg in C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash * 1 /usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin/libflashplayer.so 50 modo manual I selected the option that points to /usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin/libflashplayer.so, then, when I ran sudo update-alternatives -config mozilla-flashplugin the output was: Existen 2 opciones para la alternativa mozilla-flashplugin (que provee /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/flashplugin-alternative.so).Ġ /usr/lib/browser-plugin-freshplayer-pepperflash/libfreshwrapper-flashplayer.so 70 modo automático Pulse para mantener el valor por omisión o pulse un número de selección: * 0 /usr/lib/browser-plugin-freshplayer-pepperflash/libfreshwrapper-flashplayer.so 70 modo automáticoġ /usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin/libflashplayer.so 50 modo manualĢ /usr/lib/browser-plugin-freshplayer-pepperflash/libfreshwrapper-flashplayer.so 70 modo manual It'll show something like this (copy-paste from my case, I'm using spanish locales): Existen 2 opciones para la alternativa mozilla-flashplugin (que provee /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/flashplugin-alternative.so). Run this command in terminal: sudo update-alternatives -config mozilla-flashplugin

Install Flash Player via the adobe-flashplugin package (perhaps you need to activate Cannonical's Partners repositories in Software and Updates).

Same problem since Firefox 56 (64 bits) in Ubuntu 17.10, I think is related to some workaround I applied from the lapse when Adobe dropped Flash Player support for Linux.
